How we work
We develop managers and teams over months, with the same group, anchored in the situations where the work actually happens. Programmes run in stages with coaching alongside them, so what comes up in a session has somewhere to go the following week rather than being filed away.
The reasoning is straightforward. People update how they work when something turns out differently from what they expected, in a setting close enough to the real job to matter, often enough for it to settle. That is a slower process than a day in a room, and a considerably more reliable one.
Why programmes rather than single days
We don’t run one-off workshops or away-day sessions. There is nothing wrong with them and people often enjoy them, but a single day rarely changes how a team works a month later.
Behaviour changes when people meet something that doesn’t match what they expected, in the situation where it applies, often enough for it to stick. That takes months rather than hours — which is why we work with the same group over time.
Who this works best for
The managers who get the most from this are the ones prepared to do the harder version of the job — to have the conversation they have been putting off, to hear something uncomfortable about how they come across, or to let go of a habit that has served them well and is now getting in the way.
That is a real ask, and it suits some people more than others. If you want to be better at this and are willing to find parts of it uncomfortable, our programmes are built for you.
The hard part isn’t the frameworks
Almost every manager we meet already knows roughly what good looks like. What they are carrying is a specific conversation they have been avoiding for three weeks — about performance, or behaviour, or something said in a meeting and never addressed.
That is the part we are for. Not the model of feedback, but the conversation you are dreading on Thursday. Our groups are small and the coaching is real, so people can bring the actual situation rather than the tidy version of it.
Everyone who delivers our programmes has run something first
Our practitioners came to this work from operational roles rather than from training careers. Between us we have run a €550m business across 29 countries, an engineering function in scaleups, a 25-year IT estate, and a leadership development practice inside a global consultancy.
It matters more than it sounds. A delivery team under pressure can usually tell whether the person in front of them has ever carried the thing they are being taught about.
